On March 29-31, 127 business entrepreneurs from 12 regions covering all corners of Queensland will come together at Brisbane Powerhouse for Myriad 2017 an exciting festival for Queensland creators, connectors and collaborators.
Advance Queensland is providing support to regional entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovative businesses to attend this festival and showcase their ideas to major corporations and international investors.
Regional Development Australia (RDA) Logan & Redlands couldn't be more excited to support the 10 Redland and Logan businesses showcasing with other Regional Queensland businesses in Brisbane and help introduce Redland and Logan businesses to world-industry leaders and venture capitalists.
RDA Logan & Redlands Chief Executive Officer, Mariae Leckie said ‘this is a great opportunity for our regional innovators who are developing ground-breaking products with unique selling points and game-changing business services to showcase their talent’.
Among the regional delegates attending Myriad will be Mark Jones from the Get Fresh Group, Tony Sharp from social enterprise Substation33, and entrepreneurs from Freelance Robotics, Illuminated Industries, Global Community Resourcing, Brenton Blue, GO1, Stress Management Institute, Green STEM Solutions and Reliable Software Solutions.
RDA Logan & Redlands congratulated Minister for Innovation, Science and the Digital Economy and Minister for Small Business and State Member for Algester The Hon Leanne Enoch MP for celebrating and supporting the growing Redlands and Logan regional innovation ecosystem and acknowledged the efforts of Redland Mayor Karen Williams and Logan Mayor Luke Smith as city champions for innovation.
RDA Logan & Redlands are the approved lead applicant for the Logan and Redlands Advancing Regional Innovation Program Bid, CEO Mariae Leckie is also a Griffith University Industry Fellow and Master of Ceremonies for the highly successful Logan Campus Entrepreneurship Lecture series.
